Pickin by the Pond 2024

Pickin by the Pond Country Music Festival is returning to the Cargill Park on the weekend of July 5-7, 2024!  The musical line-up and Camping applications will soon be available. Walk-ins are welcome along with the campers.  The festival grounds will once again offer a selection of various country music performers and bands with a weekend house band.  Breakfast and meals will be offered along with a bar and a food truck with their offerings.    Watch for details as they are finalized. Cargill Homecoming 2024-August 2^nd to the 5^th

Bringing family and friends together for a  fun filled weekend at the Cargill Park!!  Join us for breakfast & dinners, live music & dances, beer tent, car shows, history displays, as well as events for seniors, children and every age in between!   Food trucks will be available during the weekend.  Souvenirs and pre-sale of tickets for the weekend’s dances and meals will be going on sale sometime in 2023.   There will be a Kick Off Dance at the Cargill Community Centre on Dec 31, 2023.  Watch for more details and links of this event as they are released.

Community Brunches

Annual St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Fathers Day and Santa Visit Brunches are offered in the Cargill Community Centre.  A dedicated number of community volunteers make these annual brunches a huge hit that have people coming from miles around to enjoy. 

 

 

Boys Night Out

Annual evening of fun for the men at the Cargill Community Centre.  Starting with a steak dinner with the trimmings. then an evening of various events for the men to partake in.  With a bar, everyone is taken home by volunteer drivers when the evening ends.  Date for 2024 event to be announced.

Ladies Day Event

Annual sold out event held at the Cargill Community Centre in November.  A day with an amazing catered meal and an afternoon of many events on various topics. Date for 2024 Ladies Day will be released at a later date.

Ladies Social Event

A night out with the girls is always filled with fun , prizes and good food ! 

Cookies with Santa and the Lighting of the Park

This annual event is held at the Cargill Park.  Children can visit with Santa.  Free cookie, hot chocolate and hotdogs will be

available for all attendees. A dedicated bunch of volunteers will have the park ready to light up at dark. 

The Food Bank will  benefit from the can goods and donations collected.
